Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

We like to string up christmas rope lights on the ground around the td. It gives enough light so you won't stumble and fall trying to find the potty. FYI...I use a bumper dumper that fits in the receiver hitch of my Jeep Wrangler. I am a big ole Texan and the luggable loo or a port a potty is just too small for me.
The bumper dumper embarrasses my family but I always put it up in the daytime. When you gotta go...you gotta go.

I'm looking right now for a porta-potty that "everyone" will not have a problem with. What is the best "device" with the "least" amount of "maintanence"? Questions? Comments?

Pres, I have used a Thetford portapotti for years with no problems...it's easy to use, easy to dump, easy to clean...the one I have, has a 3 gal tank, I usually add about a half gallon of water and some deoderant and not found what odor there is to be objectionable...I have kept this in the tent and other closed up areas...I really feel adding some water to it along with the deodorant helps with the odor problem

I use Gazebo lights all around my tent. Not only does it give off light, you can see it from far away, and it attracks alot of the bugs to the light, and not me.

I like looking for "party lights" in ebay. There are all sorts of theme lights for every type of party (although I can't picture a "Pope Party theme" as being particularly exciting).

Got my Halloween pumpkin lights and my Santa Christmas lights. Recently found some "Trailer and Car" party lights, although the trailers looked more like Air Streams. Hopefully they'll be some "teardrop trailer" lights around.

Gail, yeah I've seen those little airstream type lights at Camping World.

I have different holiday lights... I wonder what I'll use on the teardrop. Sometimes you can find just the plastic type peice to slip over a generic small light set. I have some American flags, and my gingerbread ones of course... but will have to get some OU Sooner something , and some pink flamingos... and well, maybe just some other generic stuff like chili peppers, patio lights, etc.

QUESTION??? Where do you plug them in? Is there an outlet on your hatch or do you plug it in by the microwave plug in?

There's an outlet in the hatch I use. I like stringing the larger "Christmas tree" light bulbs around the EasyUp because they provide more light if you're cooking after dark. The "theme" lights with their smaller bulbs go around the teardrop.

Around the holidays I found velcro holder thingies at Lowes; stuck them around the top of the trailer and the string lights just slip into them. They seem pretty strong; haven't lost any (so far) driving down the road.

Rope lights work really nice threaded around the edge of an EZ-Up.

They are cool, so they won't melt a hole in tent material and they are suprisingly water resistant because none of the "bulbs" are exposed to the elements.

I think a clever person could even rig ropelights to a dimmer.

I use the rope lights around the canopy. I also has photosensetive lights on the trailer as well as solar patio lights on each side of the tear. The solar patio lights aren't worth a poop at home so I use them for the tear.
