How appropriate: a three-legged stool.

I was in Cabela's one day, and they had one of these on display. I thought I'd see how it sat.

I'n 6'4", 245lbs. The display unit collapsed under me, and sent me to the ground quick. Beware of these, unless you fit into the "petite" category!

OR the new and improved handicap height 7 gallon paint bucket :rofl2:

good idea!

Those larger buckets have the same standard rim as on the 5 gallon ones, so the Luggable Loo lid would fit (and snap closed). They're not as easy to find though.

Ditto. Same stats, same circumstance, and just about same outcome. As soon as the legs started stressing, I was able to bail out just before hitting the floor.

The Iraqi special. Some of the Tank crews took a very similar toilet with them for the invasion or I mean liberation!

couple-a late night beerz; full bladder out of desperation; I once used an empty 12 oz tin can only to find to my surprise that I filled it ... luckly no spills;

2nd attempt, at the same trick I used a glass 24 oz jar with a wide lid, that could be sealed and rinsed out with soapy water ... it works well for a male; ladies please chime in with your experiances ...

#2 I'v always managed to find a peacefull remote tree at worst during the daytime ....

On our first river rafting trip (down the Colorado through the Grand Canyon), our "buddy" was named Oscar. Oscar got the best campsite; typically the tent was placed on a bluff overlooking the river for quiet contemplation while doing ones business.

At first all of us decided no bathroom trips whatsoever! Sorta hard to do for 11 days. After a while Oscar got to be our friend. Which was good. Oscar got packed up and hauled on our raft.

Back in the day, so many military surplus items made it onto the river! Sorry if this is TMI, but the rocket box toilet was called the "Groover" 'cause the edges of the rocket box left grooves in your buns!

I just checked the NRS (Northwest River Supply) Web site and they have many incredible options for toilet systems.
Click here for great potty solutions.

A 5 gallon bucket with a complete lid ( for transport) and a modified
lid ( center cut out) a standard toilet seat mounted to the modified
one and a double bag system with a little kitty litter. Cut and remove several of the lid locks to make changing lids out a little easier.

Then you are good to GO ! :laughter:

The handicapped version is a 7 gallon bucket (almost 18" high) !

Going outside in the cold air is a pain. Right now our tent is big enough for us to get up and go to it but in a small trailer it might not be possible.
We don't like to cook when we are going somewhere, prefering to eat at restaurants. Has anyone modified their cooking area for a toilet area?

I just spent 6 hours in the ER last Sunday  and with the pain killers they were giving me  I was in no shape to walk down the hall to the john. They gave me one of those angled portable urinals to use and I was thinking that would be perfect for the middle of the night inside the trailer! Now, about my wife....
I actually bought her a FUD (feminine urinary director) some years ago that would enable her to stand up to pee. She was a bit insulted. I thought (and still do think) it was a thoughtful gift...

Look up TravelJohns on Amazon for the wifey. Disposable, spill proof and odorless. I love those things!

A number of years ago someone....must have been a guy...marketed a product called 'The PLM'. It had a short life.

The idea was good but the name was really bad...Pee Like a Man...sheesh! What a great way to put off 100% of your market!
