I would like to begin my constuction soon but would like to ask a few questions before I begin.
Can I skin the outside with aluminum and no wood underneath or Would it be better to overlay?
Also has anyone used rihno lining on their tears?
Has anyone used tubular aluminum or aluminum channel for there frame?
Cost not withstanding I would really be interested in trying this with mostly aluminum construction.

My roof is aluminum right on top of the spars with no plywood. It worked great.
My hatch does have plywood under the skin and the sides are plywood with the aluminum glued to it.
