Dean, welcome to the board...the best bet is to use the FREE Generic Benroy plans listed at the top of this page...they are free ya know and developed with the input of many here on this board...modify the profile as you like and you will have what ya want for free...free is good :D

p.s....if ya just gotta buy something, consider Steve Frederick's build CD...it is not a step by step plan detail as such but rather covers the techniques he uses to build some mighty fine campers...they can be adapted to any profile
...I have come to believe that, conflict resolution, through violence, is never acceptable.....................mj

Steve Frederick's build CD

Postby Dean Buckley » Sun Jan 07, 2007 9:47 am

 Where can I get the CD? I would like to know where I can find the best and simplest 5x10 trailer that I can build. I need to decide on a style.

Steve's CD can be found here Manual
They are all relatively simple to build if you aren't shy about using some basic tools. Particularly if you have any woodworking experience.

Hi Dean, I'm 6'4" and have built both my trailers in the Benroy style. Number 1 is 9x5 and Number2 is 8x5. I think the benroy gives you more useable floor space in these sizes.
Cheers
Paul

We bought our plans but they were so bad we just winged it! I found that the changes we made suited us better
