I have to say, that's a good plan.

In my Giant Teardrop I have no place to sit and relax.

I'd be happy with that, but would have more drop storage. A space under the sofa for rarely used back up parts.

I'm thinking of attaching the shell to the trailer via the drop boxes.

being able to sit in the TT is very important to me. That is what determinate angle of the front wall and hight of TT.
drop box that you see on my sketch is not realy storage box but something that give you right angle for your legs when you sit on "sofa".

I will add two more boxes for storage in front (under the "sofa").
Table on the side of the TT is actually box cover. There will also be one more table inside of TT. ...if you're caught by bad weather, you can eat inside. I will also make tent to cover galley so you can cook when it is raining.

All ideas are welcome!!!

Thank you.

but the drop box could be used for storage while in transport, empty out on arrival, now you have a decent sofa.

Big enough for a 10x10 canopy and tie downs?

You are absolutely right

box is 100x60x20 cm

getting the dang 10x10 back into it's storage bag is a PITA. Anymore after the races we just break it down and use bungee balls to tie it in a bundle. Even if you are careful the zipper on the bag still gets ripped.

Jofa, I really like the plan! Are you willing to share the sketchup file? I'm "building" a Grumman 2 in sketchup now. Just in research phase right now - no physical building yet.
