Here is a generic building plan for a teardrop designed by the members of T&TTT.

SquareDrop Trailers

Postby lacustom » Sun Aug 27, 2017 8:32 am

I started a Facebook page for tiny trailers of different shapes and sizes. You are welcome to share photos , ideas , designs and all camping related experiences to enhance everyone's camping experience. No Drama , no politics , just Tiny Trailers , even teardrops are welcome , we love them all.
Come join the fun!

It's about time that squaredrop or squareback trailers got some love, too! Foamies, canned-hams, "huge" cargo conversions all have their own place of honor, not to mention the beloved parent "teardrop" design, among others. My build, a squareback, simple off-road non-traditional member-designed TTT has no particular place to call home, though I love it. Some gatherings even discriminate against the teardrop cast-offs (as "ugly" ducklings, or cuckoos from their nest). You're starting a real home for the square trailers out there; a magnaminous gesture, but on the accursed Facebook ?????

I hate joining things on facebook.
  • I tried using FB before, quitting twice since 2009, and and only re-joined recently, for two reasons: 1) to keep up with the South Central Group, who post both here on TnTTT and on Facebook, and 2) to keep up on my wife's activities and comments about me(she's a rabid FB user). I was added to the SquareDrop Camper Group by a member of both groups, and I found that I like their limited posts, and informal info about their trailers. It is based in Florida, but seems to be spreading out.
  • I check in on both TnTTT and SDCG every day, now, and I read /review/comment on my wife's posts there, as a written record of things she may have told me (or not), and I may have forgotten or didn't take notice of (a bad habit of mine, accelerated now in my late 60's). So, finally, FB is serving my purposes, and I'm not hating it, now.
