Hub size for the Ironton trailer?

Postby clielasus » Fri Aug 07, 2015 3:37 pm

I need to order some hub spacers for my teardrop (the replacement wheel/tires are almost touching the frame) but my trailer is parked at a friends a very long drive away. I was hoping someone here might have an Ironton 5x8 and be able to measure the hub for me.

Here is how to measure for a spacer. http://adaptitusa.com/productimages/ico ... circle.gif

Please and thank you! :D

Well, I answered my own question with a quick chat with the folks at Northern Tool (who sold me the trailer). In case anyone else needs to know, the answer is 5 on 4.5.

That is pretty standard in trailer industry (also same as Jeep)... Its the non standard hubs (taken off cars and trucks) that drive us crazy..
