Anyone here know of or used the timbren axle-less suspension?

Trying to keep the overall height of the trailer as low as possible, saw the 4" drop spindles along with the no axle......... :?

Is it better than torsion axles? I will be a little worried about punctures on the rubber thingy.

capntelescope used them on his CNC build. He also has a write up on changing the polyurethane (IIRC) snubbers to derate them for a better ride.

Dan

It was your write up that swayed me to go the Timbren route. Thanks!

On those ones, the "rubber thingy" is solid, not pneumatic. In theory, they can tear, but it's not likely. Here is a thread about replacing one of the springs, so you can get a better feel for it. viewtopic.php?f=35&t=65537
