axle location on a standie

I know on a teardrop you shoot for some where around a 40/60 axle location. Does that hold true on a standie? If not what would you be looking at on something 11.6' long? Thanks.

It’s the same on all trailers for the most part regardless of use. It’s all about the stability during towing.

Where the axle should go is based on weight distribution. Please read this document and it should help you to understand:
