In OP's pics it looks to me like a flip kit is already been done. But actually you don't flip the axle. You are only moving it from above the springs to under the springs.
Dexter produces many axles and sells a kit for their axles.
Per conversation's with Dexter and American Hauler ( my trailer brand). CT are perfered to be lower than TT's. Having looked at some newish TT units, they have either straight axles -axle under springs or flipped, drop axles- compared to CT's.

I see the logic in that. Cargo trailers can be expected to haul a lot more weight than travel trailers, so it is best to keep the CG lower; also easier to load and unload. Travel trailers, being relatively light can be taller without affecting the CG as much. Taller = more ground clearance over transitions, which is better for some of those long rigs (the 20+ ft "take your house camping" types).
