FYI – for anyone using SketchUp, I have uploaded three teardrop style fenders for general use in the 3D model warehouse. They can be found by entering in the title or starleen2

Nice fenders...

Are those approximations, or are they measured from the real thing?

Mike...

P.S. Do we need to set up a CAD file repository here on the forum?
The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten, so build your teardrop with the best materials...

Most are approximations, I really didn't pull a measurement on them - In SketchUp you can use the scale tool to get them to the required dimensions in three axes. Most new users have a hard time getting curves right. If you draw a measurement line in the three axes and then using the scale tool , you can see the measurement shrink (or expand) as you draw the object up or down. The repository might be nice for those who are looking for some common standard size objects and trailers

A repository would be good. A suppository...not so much...

Hi, Starleen2, great fenders and really like your other designs on your link. I'm in the UK and would like to post your link to your Sketchup stuff on a forum of the tcbg (Teardrop Club Great Britain) - would that be OK with you? Regards, Steve
