Anyone willing to help me with 3d model

Postby AJP » Wed Jul 28, 2010 8:31 am

Ok here is what I am doing I currently am in the planning stages of a simple TD on a Harbor Freight 4x8 trailer. I have some scaled pdf's and cad (dxf) 2d files and would like a 3d rendering made. I have tried using sketchup and so far it is beyond my abilities. So anyone willing to help please do.

CAD files:

I have done some playing in sketchup and have a decent start I think. Can someone tell me how it looks so far? I started on the harbor freight 4x8 trailer in the 3d warehouse and have been building from there.

Looks like your are off to a fine start. I did not look at your 2d drawings but here is your model with the ends filled in for you.

You may have touble at first working with my sketch up file until you get the hang of what I have done. The parts are drawn individualy then grouped and moved to seperate layers so that you can take the camper apart and put it back together one layer at a time just as you would if building it. If you have any questions just ask.
