Saw a few ideas I might incorporate this summer... hmmm

Yep ya did. If you noticed, my tear wasn't skinned yet. Was supposed to of had an interview showing the making of a teardrop and pics of my Grandparents tear that I was patterning after. But they ran out of time and didn't get back to me. Oh well, maybe next time. Think they spent to much time with Dave's trailerboat. They were also having to much fun with Marjorie(she a kick, 80+ years young) . I was already to skin it, but was asked to bring it down with out the alum on it.

I'm so excited !!!!
:awesome:
Wish it was on sooner, but I will mark my calendar, and put sticky notes... heck! I'll just program the vcr right now! I sure want to see this again.

I'm a young 42 and was inspired by the older lady and her teardrop! I didn't get to see much of the show.

GREAT!!!!

They aired RV Crazy again this week, Tuesday I think (09/06). I recorded the part with the TDs. My wife hadn't see it yet and I wanted her to see them. She still thinks you're all nuts for sleeping in a box...lol. I'm slowly getting her to come around and consider camping in ours when it's built. At least, she has decided on an interior color scheme...that's a good sign.

Sometimes I pretend to be normal. But, that gets boring...so I go back to being me.

Wow! Lots of new ideas for me to think about.
BUT.....no "weekender". So sad.

There is a show I saw on PBS (can't remember the name) that showed camping tailers from 1920 up to 1960? It showed a variety of tear drops inside and out.

The funniest thing was the monsterous trailer that was in that Lucy and
Desi movie. I don't need anything that big. I think a "weekender " behind my s-blazer is all I need.

Turtle, thanks for the larger vid. Glad I have DSL!

I should put pontoons under my teardrop then I could lay in bed and fish out the door.

Just watched an RV _ Crazy video

Postby Classic Finn » Sun Oct 02, 2005 10:35 am

I enjoyed watching the RV - Crazy video.. :o

Some natural born Finns and there Innovative LONG CARAVAN..built in Florida, Lake Worth area..

Including "The Sauna" A Finn,s Most Sacred Place on Earth". Which holds true...

I also enjoyed hearing my own Native Language, being spoken on it!!
:D

He,d never get it safety inspected here for sure as he mentioned...
A lil bit of craziness helps in this world... and that sure is one to look at
in a fun and unique way!!

I wish we could get that on television here but no such luck...

We enjoyed it..

My site is going to be down......

Postby Turtle49 » Sun Nov 27, 2005 8:09 pm

I wanted to let people know that I am doing a major reload on my webserver for the next couple of weeks. I have been hosting a divx version of RV Crazy that a lot of you have been downloading from my site.

Teardrop.Turtle49.com

I have been getting quite a few hits for this.

The site will be intermittent at best for a while. I will post when it is completely rebuilt. I have not updated apache or PHP in a while and I'm getting a few security holes.
:x

Thanks for your patience,
Tim
