Well haven't been on here since May 2, 2009 gave up building a Tear at that time, now I have a base to build one off of and the time and garage area
Heres my what some call wanna be Jeep but with 4.10s, 32 inch tires, 4.5 inch lift and other goodies it does the job alright
also my old wood hauling trailer that I retired and will be building into a flat bed with removable tear drop on it
the way it looked when I pulled it out of the woods and then with spring over and new tires/wheels

Tow rig and trailer ready to use.

Image

Jeep has been regeared to 4.10s, lockright in the front, 31's, Genright Safari Fuel Tank (31 gallons), Rokmen Rockers, 1" BL, Tranny Cooler, reinforced diff covers. I have a winch sitting in the garage waiting patiently.

Still needs a tummy tuck and front winch bumper. Possibly an AEV highline hood and fenders in the future to run 33s on the stock suspension.

Here's my future tow rig as it was when I got it.

I've been working on it lately and this is the front end so far.

I've also got most of the cage done. I am just about ready to get the rear bumper and hitch made. Once, I'm done with that I will be starting my trailer.

Well my tow rig isn't as extreme off road as some but it should get me to where I'm going when a normal campsite isn't where we want to be. Most likely our off road will just be camping out in a cow pasture along the river. My rig is in my Avatar along with the frame of my trailer.

This is her all cleaned up,

So far the trailers the Ranger have towed and I have since sold
1986 20ft terry
1974 14ft Taylor Coach 1150 lb dry
2004 25ft prowler 5200 dry
30 ft Terry, 6400lb dry
Believe it or not, the 6400 lb terry was the easiest to tow
