I have an f150 and would like a small trailer to tow behind it i have a tent trailer for parts . Weights is not a big deal with me cause i can tow a lot of weight. there are a couple of requirements.
-needs to have excellent ground clearance
-rock type guards
-place for guns
-roof rack
-and a rear cargo carrier
-tons of storage space
-carry lots of water,fuel,propane
-entertainment system for those rainy nights

I could use any suggestions on color, wood grains design ideas.
what i could really us help with also is heaters and awnings i want the heater to be build in and a design for a cheep awning

You might want to look at Sawtooth's build LINK.

It is a real build with pictures.

Well i decided to go with a sorta weekender type style trailer with a small cargo space on the front for fire wood generator coolers. i got my parts trailer torn all the way down today and realized just how weak the frame was so i decided it would be smarter to build one instead for trying to strengthen frame but i did get some good parts out of it

Image

also picked up some tires they are 32.5 on 16 inch rims the rims are at linex right now a 3500 pound axel some metal and some wood. i havent done much on it though cause i been finishing my heavy duty front bumper.

the idea with this trailer which i call backcountry is i can camp for a week and a half in remote locations so i was wondering how much water ,food space storage, and stuff like that you guys think i need i alreay decided to have two batteris and twopropane tanks.

potable water

In a weekend; with using water sparingly but liberally ie cooking, dirinking, coffee, dishwashing; short knozzle hair wash with a 1ga electric pump; 2 of us use about 7 gallons.

water is heavy and consumable; we usally take 2 - 7 ga containers water.

Off road = high clearence (you probably know that already) but independant suspension will get rid on the axel clearence issue.

Sounds intresting; any updates?

If you will be near any water source; take along a good filter system. As long as there's no civilization up stream; it should be safe except for the damn Voles.

a couple of things I carry in the big trailer you may consider adding to your list;

*A metal fire bucket to go with the axe and shovel

*a small foldable rake from HF, real handy to clear the leaves and pine needles away from the fire pit. Only weighs a couple of pounds.
