Oh, good! Now, you have an escape door. "Mama" Sharon was worried about you before. You could even add a removable framed screen to that little door area, so you could get additional fresh air inside. Now, it is definitely camp-able!

yea its deffinantly much nicer inside, im hopeing i can find a slider window to fit inside the door itself but the screen idea is good also i might have to look into that

speaking form some experiance camping in a 6X10 trailer solo and occasionally with some company; you will need air circulation and windows will help make it feel less clostrophobic; set them maybe high closer to the rear cause people do peak ... I have found that they sweat lots; the roof vent will help lots; but I think you'll need windows too ... looks like fun adn your totally laughing at $ 225...

i got started on it earlier, ill post some pics tomorrow

alright got it finished up today, took it for a pretty brutal test and worked great.







i cut the center link and welded in some 2 inch round 1/4 plate with a 5/8's grade 8 bolt with a steel washer in between and 2 washers between the plate and the head of the bolt and the nut. i also welded the nut to make sure it cant loosen up.

for as light as this thing is i think it will be fine.

also finished up the wiring for the land power and added a new light inside that can be rotated all the way around to put the light where i need it

got alot more done today, built a swing around table on the tongue to grill off of or to use as another layer of storage for the trip there. its ugly as sin but it going to work well.





and the toolbox lid still opens with it towards the back so when im loaded down heading for the trails if i need in there i can still open it up.

also got started on the 12v wiring, added a nice little fuse panel and a little fan plus 2 12v auto plug adapters






volt gauge for the battery.

got the grill mounted the other day




got the trailer loaded up and ready to go.

checked the tongue weight :


its just about perfect, pulls nice smooth and straight.

and loaded up, for a long weekend trip there will be a bunch more in there

thanks man not sure on the year but NOMANCO originally built the trailer, tag says its rated at 1500lb's thats about all i know

went pretty good.




left the campground and ran a few trails, was pretty cool because with all the rain there were several water crossings from the strip pits being so high.

had to pull the trailer through about 18" of water to get to the parking lot then on down after we dropped the trailer off went through one that made the 36's disapear for a second. went through fine with no troubles





and back at home

its been a while since ive updated this, ive actually been looking for a new camper so this one is for sale. my second daughter is due in october so i figure its tme to make something big enough for the family.

i did throw a window in and still have another to throw in this week for the other side.
