Little Guy Doors

Postby Mr Voima » Sun Jun 12, 2011 4:36 am

Hi Guys,

I know this maybe a long shot, but does anyone know who the supplier is that supplies the doors that are fitted to the rough rider and also various other models of the Little guy camper range.
I live in Australia and these are the doors I want I think
as I'm about to start my build and want to have everything at arms reach when I start to try to expedite the process. 8)

Cheers,

They're usaully available on ebay...you might want to check it out. The ones on my teardrop are made by HEHR and are very similar.

Are you looking for the new style or the old style? There was a recent discussion on this over on the construction forum. Sorry, no links but its worth checking out.

+1 for Frank, if you want the old style that is. He has them in two heights too. I don't know how they would look after getting shipped overseas...

Just a thought, Littleguy is selling the new style doors as an upgrade option, with instructions on modification to retrofit the new doors to an older Littleguy. This means somebody out there is upgrading thier Littleguy to the new style, so somewhere out there, there has to be a great deal on some used LG doors.

Just a thought.

I had the same question a few months ago. It looks like the little guy doors are modified Egress Emergency exit windows (the older model). They simply removed the bottom windows, put some aluminum sheet in its place, put in a door lock, and mounted it on its side.

see here for the original thread:

Thanks for all the info Guys!!.
I've already contacted Frank but sadly the cost of Freight is $730 with USPS which means that it would work out cheaper to find someone here willing to custom build them for me.
Unless  someone on here knows of a more cost effective way to send them to Queensland, Australia. :worship: :worship:

Thanks Mark,

What did you end up using for your doors?

Mr Voima. I'm doing like I did for my first teardrop trailer and building the doors.

I did find another company that makes a very similar door to the little guy just this week. Here's their site:

http://challengerdoor.com/contact.html

The model # is: 10-191098

I called them but they're closed this entire week. I can't find that model on their website. I know they make them though because I saw them on a teardrop last month.

Cheers!
