So, I'm new from SC

Postby Rose4aname » Wed Sep 26, 2007 11:37 am

Well here I am after looking for a while I'm ready to come out! I'm Ellen from Easley. I met Chip already, he told me about this site. Thanks Chip.
I have a new Project trailer - a Scotty. Small but sweet. Love it so far. Cleaned it out - redid electric - new walls - new flooring - just put up curtains & ready to paint!! And away we go.... First stop is Charleston for my son's soccer tournament. Its gonna be fun. I am sure I will have future questions - just don't know where to begin just yet. Thanks for being here.

I do need to check the stove - not sure about that yet. I also have a propane lantern that will need a wick - don't know where to find them either. Any advise?

Hi Ellen,

Welcome to the forum. Hope you jump in and participate and ask lots of questions, because we like answering them.

As far as a wick for your propane lantern, most sporting goods stores, some Walmarts and Kmarts have them. The last ones I bought, I think I got at Kmart, but that has been several years( 6 or 7 ).

Anyway, welcome aboard. :)

Hi Ellen,

Welcome :D

Lamp wick ?

It ain't a wick or a sock, it's a mantle. Although it looks like a sock, sort of....
For antique lights they usually go by ring size and aren't all the Coleman lantern size, but most are still available with a little searchin.
