Hello From Trailerworks

Postby TrailerWorks » Tue Aug 21, 2007 8:32 pm

Finally took the time to register here. Been a bit busy trying to build a trailer restoration company & build a few teardrops here and there. Seems like a great forum, with lots of enthusiastic members. Sorry I took took so long to get on board!

Hello Eric, glad to see you've joined us. I learned about your company a while ago when I was interested in getting a larger trailer. I saw one of your Vintage Airstreams on eBay. You guys do awesome restoration work.

Thanks for the warm welcome

Hello again,

Thanks for the greetings. Yes http://www.trailerworks.biz is our company. We're small, but busy. I wanted to join the forum to get some feedback on our Retro Traveler series of teardrops, but mainly just to have some fun with other like-minded folks. We're planning to try and hit a few of the events later in the summer/fall. We've done a bit with the Tin Can Tourists over the past few years with restored trailers we have completed.(What do we call them here? Full size? "Normal" size seems a bit of a slight...).

My wife Jen and I are planning to head to Maine next week to see her family - bringing a trailer (of course), so we might hit the event on the 7th/8th. Might see some of you there.

We spend quite a bit of time in Brevard, NC in the summer - too hot here in Beaufort, so the Davidson River event is on our list as well.

Again, thanks for the welcome.

Welcome aboard!!

I have spent time on your website in the past and now get to say "HI". I have been inspired by your restorations. Just beautiful! I'm glad to see those old beauties brought back to life. I hope you have a few moments to enjoy our little group.

Take care,
Joanne

I just wanna say I met Eric and Jen today over at the shop, and I must say, his Retro Trailer and his Teardrop are just awesome, and he does it all like we do, with a jigsaw and a BFH..
Eric and Jen are both wonderful people and I hate to say it, but Camp-Inn finally has some competition here on the east coast.

Eric:

Welcome aboard....

As per your email... I started the thread on polishing aluminum.

Your results on your completed projects are stellar.

Look forward to your sharing some ideas with us on technique.

Glad you found us.

I've used both e-mail addresses posted on their website but no luck. Any thoughts on how to contact Trailerworks?

Could this be why you have had no response -- it's posted in one of their posts above:
