Excuse me while I whip this out...

Blazing Saddles, classic movie.

Name: Some call me Tim?
Age: 35
Occupation: Electronics Tech for Bowe Bell & Howell

I grew up in Central Ohio and am a devout Buckeye fan. Spent just under 7 years in the Marines and moved to Texas when I got out. I've been in Texas since late '97.

I ran into Sonetpro at a fishing tournament and just latched on to the idea of building a TD. Right now I'm leaning towards a cross between a 2+2 and a Cub profile but we will see.

I've already started looking for a trailer and I ordered a copy of TurboCAD Deluxe so I'm on my way I guess.

See you in the funny papers,

Tim

Tim,

Welcome to the forum. I'm also in San Antonio, well, just a few miles North, and if you would like to see another example, you are welcome to come by and take a look at my trailer.

Thanks SteveH,

I'll take you up on that before too long. The more ideas I have before I start designing the better I think.

Tim,

That will be fine. Just shoot me a PM when you get ready, I'll give you a call, and we can get together.

The one in your avatar doesn't look like a can of beans either. Well, kinda, rounded shiney metal...
;)

I could see both of yours on the same trip :) Maybe a CenTex get-together?

Who's up for some Rudy's? :D

I'd be up for a central Texas gathering...sounds great. Let's not make it on a holiday weekend because we won't be able to get reservations.

Hi, Tim! Welcome to the forum. It's good to meet another Big Ten football fan, although we'll be on opposite sides when OSU plays my Alma Mater, Penn State! I am a PSU grad, and live only 10 miles from PSU. I work for PSU, too. I drive right past Beaver Stadium on my way to work. I designed my tear with AutoCAD, and have it about half built. You'll have fun doing yours! BTW, my favorite movies: Blazing Saddles, the Naked gun films, Airplane (1 and 2), and Pee Wee's Big Adventure. Yeah, I'm twisted too!

I was gonna bug Davel about a Texas meet. We have to do one next Spring, whenever Spring break is. Is the school calendar for next school year set yet?
