8) More newbies arriving shortly on this forum as my friends are now the proud owners of "The Comet" built by Doug Hodder (aka DougKraft). Another beautiful woody tear finds a good home...a successful match by Nanny.

She doesn't have a tear anymore.

Dean, you better get busy and build the Nanny a tear!

Are there any doubts??? :R
Now that I've had a scolding from the esteemed UTBA for over building an overweight frame on the behemoth previous build... I'm dialed in!!!
The gathering was good and so will my tear be good!

Sad to see it go, but to a good home

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Tue Aug 08, 2006 9:09 pm

:) I'm happy that my friends are giving the Comet a new home in my neighborhood, and that I'll be able to continue admiring Dougie's handiwork for years to come. Yes, I did shed a small tear
as they took ownership, but one would feel that way if a
treasured little one left their home such as this one did.
It's going to make it out in the BIG world with people who have
Aloha spirit.

And how can you not be excited when someone finds the tear of their dreams in less than 5 minutes flat?? :applause: and loves it immediately. Teardrop Bliss, have you experienced it lately??? :R TDN

I'm working on my doors at the moment also.

And you know what else is frustrating, just when you get up some momenteum, company comes for the weekend, and you can't do any work at all. That'll be this weekend.

Yeap... Having a garage was a requirement to buying it and they have a few...
Joanie and I were their personal references... Great folks, they will be joining the forum shortly. (They're going camping with it tomorrow)
