Hi everyone, I have recently registered on the forum. My name is Connie and I live in Lake Charles, Louisiana. I now co- own a teardrop. It was built by my hubby, Terry (Nubwon) .He has done a wonderful job. We have booked our first gathering, Lake Bistineau State Park.(Louisiana) Terry may have told you, I am use to the comforts of our travel trailer, so it may take a bit of help from you to get me ready for this trip.
I have been reading some of the post, in fact a lot of them, everyone here seems so friendly and helpful. I am really looking forward to the gathering. That gives me 2 months to get everything together. I will probably forget something, is it ok to borrow from neighboring teardroppers? lol

...only if you ask first ;) ...welcome Connie (Mrs. Nubwon)...one thing I would recommend is a privacy tent and a porta potti for those late night/early morning trips...this is especially true if you are used to the conveniences of a motor home...this one from Cabela's is probably the Cadillac of privacy tents at 99bucks...you can get a cheaper one for around 40 bucks from Wally World, Sportsmans Guide, Cabela's and other sporting goods outlets .......

Hi Connie,

Welcome

I don't think anyone would loan you their plastic flamingos, you will have to get your own. :D
