Hello All,
The name is Tom and I have been working on my teardrop off and on for several months. It is based on the Cubby, but I have changed the shape and materials. I am using a 24 inch radius for the front and 36 inches for the back. The outside skin is 3/4 inch oak plywood and the interior and roof skin will be 1/4 in panels (not sure of wood) from Home Depot. I have the walls and bulkheads in, and the interior side walls cut. The bulkheads are made of 3/4 inch plywood with lath strips to allow the addition of the insulation.
That's where I am so far and I am looking forward to using the expertise of this group to finish the project. I am planning to put some cabinets and perhaps foldout shelves on the outside of the trailer--the primary reason for using more substantial plywood so that I can attach such things. Has anyone else done this?
I'll try to take some pictures this week end--both of my fat self and the trailer.
Tom
