:D Hi, My wife and I are proud owners of a Yoder Toter Teardrop. Thought of making our own but didn't want to wait that long to use it. We are hoping to get out in it for some fall camping here in Washington State. Thanks for all the good information on the site and for the friendly comradery.

 Happy camping to all and to all a cold icebox, Robert

Robert,

Welcome to the board! I don't think that you can direct link a photo from flickr, so I changed it to a link for you.

Madjack probably knows for sure on the photo links.

Congrats on the new little one

We also own a 5x8 Silver Shadow Yoder Toter. We bought it after we built a 4x8 Cubby and sold it to a friend of ours. Did you make the drive to North Canton, OH? Wish I could see your pics, but work has flicker blocked. I'll try and see them at home tonight.

Welcome to the forum.

Sid, Our Yoder is also a 5x8 which we bought from a Chevrolet Dealer in a place just north of Seattle. Just got it home Monday night. Had a bit of hassle getting the trailer light hookup working but all works fine now. Hope to get out in it the week after next.

thanks for the nice welcome, robert

Hey Robert,
Now that I'm home, I went to check your pics and the link is gone.

I think you will be happy with the 5x8 size. We had a 4x8 Cubby we built, and the extra foot in the Yoder Toter is nice. Also the cabinets set back farther giving you more room in the cabin. A little less in the galley, but it's okay.

I posted a link about some screens I made for our doors. You might want to check it out.

Chevrolet Dealership

Postby blackgrouse » Wed Sep 13, 2006 10:22 pm

Hi pgwilli,

The dealership is Seaview Chevrolet in Lynnwood, WA. They handle the Yoder Toter Brand and also the Little Guy Brand. Tell your friend to hurry because I think they only have one Yoder Toter left.

Happy camping to all and to all a cold icebox, Robert

howdy blackgrouse,
Good to see you here (I'm the same guy with the same screen name at Flickr). I got mine at the Chevy dealer in gig harbor in late spring but they were moving and I'm not sure where they were moving too so my be the same guys but i doubt it. There are quite a few Yoder Toter owners on the boards here with lots of good mods. On top of it all every one is great and very helpful!!!!

oh ya here the latest mod I've made to mine the big shinny box on the front
Image

and my whole set up that take like 30 minutes to break down and go
