Howdy from Ohio

Long time 'lurker', short time TD'r. Bought our TD in June this year after several months searching and using this site and much helpful info posted to assist.

Our 'Mod-Pod' has a 60's theme complete with flower/peace sign decals, tie dye bedding, wallpaper and even a blacklight and poster inside...

We've managed to get out 6 times this summer and just love it!
Pulls like a dream even with my 4 cylinder Mazda and its great not sleeping on the ground...even hippies get old!

Quick thanks to all for the great info that has helped get our bare-bones TD outfitted and good to go...for now...always something new to add...

Yes, MadJack...pix to come shortly.

For now...Peace Out.

Julie, yeah its pretty freakin' far out, seems the 'younger' crowd gets a big kick out of it.

Barb, just down the expressway in Cuyahoga Falls.

I was just in Charm Ohio at Keim Lumber picking up the rest of the wood needed for my trim on the teardrop.

Lumber,
lunch,
stop at the produce stand for lots of goodies.

Mr.Boo
Welcome fellow Ohioan!!

Rick and Tracy from Ashtabula; Tracy hails from New Philadelphia; we 'zip' through Cuyahoga Falls all the time on our way down there; heck we've got relatives in Tallmadge; Kent, Massillon and Hartville...seems we spend more time there than up here. How about some type of gathering this summer??

Hey Gassman

All for that, but this summer seems to be fast fleeting!

Hope to get out at least one more time before hanging it up for the winter.

We usually end the season down at Mohican Reservation in Loudonville. We like to dry camp right on the river.

Unfortunately, can't do till the 3rd weekend or later in October due to our rather busy work/personal committments...work always seems to take all the FUN outta things!

MR.Boo
OOPS !!!

Meant to type some type of gathering "next" summer....for all we know; there could be snow on the ground by next week...we are in Ashtabula !!!
Any how..all we have completed so far is the trailer...we kind of need to top it off with a teardrop!!!

Hey Gassman,

Next summer for sure.

You're right about that snow..sad, but true!

One of the best parks we found in the area is at West Branch.

Its a state park with nice sites right on the lake and brand new bath/shower houses that are the best I've seen so far.

So, get to work and have that TD ready by next June...the snow SHOULD be gone by then....maybe!
