Hello from western pa.

Postby parivercat » Thu Sep 28, 2006 3:56 pm

Hello everyone. My name is Kermit my wife and I live in western pa. about 60 miles north of pitts. I have loved teardrop campers ever since seeing them on a tv. show I saw on pbs about 3 years ago. we have a 24ft. lite hawk and we go camping almost every weekend from May until late Oct. 2 weeks ago I gave in and started building my own teardrop I have looked at hundreds on the internet. And came up with my own design. I just finished staining the inside yesterday and tonight will do the galley.I have taken 2 rolls of pictures and am on the 3rd now. everyone says they are impressed by what they see. But I say its not bad for my first attempt.I wished I would have found this site before beginning my build. there seems to be a lot of info about building here. Thanks for letting me join this forum.
