Hello! From North West Florida

Postby slipperyd12 » Thu Sep 28, 2006 7:59 pm

Well after two months of lurking, I finally ordered the axle and I am off and running. I had to wait for the weather to cool off. I settled on a 8x10
Benroy type. 2x2 3/16 frame. I live north of Pensacola. Just this evening I passed a partially completed tear drop being pulled on Hwy 29. So far this forum has been great lots of good information. Will be posting some questions soon. Thanks everyone! John

Ah,

Good choice in size John... Many people are happy with the 5x10 size.

Were you affected by the hurricanes last year? Will your teardrop be able to help you bug out if need be?

Mike, Ivan hit us really hard lost all pecan trees lots of house damage.
Water can get in alot of places blowing horizontal at over 100 miles an hour for over six hours. Ivan hit us from east and west for around 10 hours. Dennis hit us with wind from the north for only about an hour.
