Well let me start by saying I have never been camping in a camper and I know nothing about them, as close as I have been to a camper is my mom owned one when I was younger, but I bearly remember it that well. so I was thinking about easy and cheap ways to travel and campers came to mind, I played around on the web for a few hours and found the "Teardrop" and I must say that it is very cool. and I am thinking about buying or maybe building one. I am sure that I will make some new friends here.........

Howdy and welcome!
You will meet lots of great people here!!
This forum is such a great source of info you will be amazed.

Mark this weekend in your calendar. November 10-12. There will be a teardrop gathering at Anastasia State Park in St. Augustine. Swing by and see about a dozen different teardrop trailers up close and personal. Nothing will fuel the fire like seeing them in person.

Welcome !! My best advice .... go to a campout or gathering where several teardrops or the like are there. Take a camera, don't be afraid to ask questions, pull open the hatch yourself, ask if you can lay down in one --- it really makes a difference.

Is it just you? or do you have a camper companion - whether it's a person or dog, etc? What are you pulling it with? Those are different things to consider...
