Coming out of the umm......... closet?

I guess it's time to stop lurking since I made a post elsewhere. I've been lurking for about 6 months or so. I have'nt started building yet, still looking for a good donor trailer. I think I've decided on something like Gage's Scotsman, I love the style of it.

I live in northern California and currenty have a big truck camper, but sometimes it's a pain if me and my wife just want to go. I have to build a 5' wide cause I have a 2 year old. For a living I am a HVAC service tech and have been doing sheetmetal work for around 20 years. I'm also a huge computer geek, every desktop computer in my house(4 total) I built myself.

Anyway, I've gotten tons and tons of ideas and various info from this site. Hopefully will continue to get even more and maybe even get to meet some great new people.

Tom,

6 months eh? You must not be the writing kind! :o

Well I'm glad you came out of lurking. Welcome to the forum.

Gage's teardrop is very nice. If you could do something similar I think you'd be mighty happy with it.

Welcome also. I live a little bit south of you. Lots of great ideas and advice here. Lots plans available. Teardrops are wonderful; they are always ready to go and just seem to follow you without making any fuss.
