Newbie From SoCal

Postby AlaskaBound » Tue Nov 28, 2006 1:24 am

I am a retired Teamster warehouseman , not a glory job but it was a good living and a good retirement. I have been reading this forum for some time now. I bought the HF 1800# trailer a few weeks ago. It was not on sale but an old sign was still on it so they gave it to me at the sale price, $299. I built it and then decided to replace some of the bolts with larger ones. I also painted it with Hammered Black, 3 cans. I will get some plywood next week.

Welcome to the forums. You'll have fun the whole way through your build. Make sure you create an album showing your progress. Gives us something to look at during our downtime. :)

Shiba Inu

Postby cuyeda » Tue Nov 28, 2006 2:57 am

Yes, that is a Shiba Inu dog, male, 10yrs. Welcome to the forums. I am in the planning stages. I thought if we were close we could help each other out. Ontario is not exactly neighboring cities.

Love to see a picture of your shiba, when you get a chance to post one.

AlaskaBound,

Nice lookin' dog. The color looks like my male dog (avatar), and the face looks like my female shiba. Good luck building! Hope to meet ya' at one of the gatherings. I hope to visit the March gathering somewhere in So Cal. Maybe we can meet up there. I probably won't have a TD built by then, got a little project I have to do first (trailer related).

Alaska,

I'm in Ontario as well. NW corner, just S of the 10.
Everybody enjoys a good pun; its just that nobody has ever heard one!

Archer

Ontario isn't very big, I'm in the SE corner, just south of the 60. I see you have a Camp-Inn. I am go to try to build mine 5 ft wide on a 4 ft trailer.
