Well i have been reading here and looking at the many diffrent designs. i kinda like David Byrums, and George Teague's TT's. i was thinking of maybe going 12f long for the extra room. Well here is where i would like to have some opinions and advice. I am wanting to build a combanation camp/ Bug out trailor,i have an old trailor that i used in my buiesness before, it has 4 new tires. and 2 new axels i had made for it, i do not think we uesd that thing 3 times, lol. it is 8w-16l.now i was thinkig about shortning it, but then i started thinking, that would be a lot of storage and living space, but i would narrow the width to 6 feet wide. i am not sure if i would want to go 4 feet h or not, i am 5'3 and my fiance is 5'1, so i was thinking if i wanted to go 6' h-6'w-16'l it could have the galley inside, and a bath room as well.not sure what that profile would look like. the trailor pulls very well as it is,and it would save some time not cutting it appart, and it seems like a waste just sitting there doing nothing. i know some may be thinking about the weight issue, but i have a 3/4 ton pick up, and i am not planning on going across country, probably just stay within the SC,NC TENN area. wel i have babeled on long enough, i look foward to any advice or comments.
thanks Steve
