What profile are you planning?

Welcome Chris,
When you say:
I'm Going To Start with The Generic Benroy Plan For My First Build.

 It sound a lot like number #2 is already in the thought process. It is important to recognise this as it will allow you to buy extra while you are going. Just say "why, honey I believe there is enough to make another. 8) ;)

We need pictures ya know, cause 8) certain people just luv em. ;)

I built mine to pull behind a small car, so I kept it light weight and 8 feet long. I did go for 5' wide however.

Were I to pull it with a larger rig, I think I'd built longer. Maybe 10 or even 12 long. That would give a full roll out galley and a little more storage space.

That said, the larger you get the furher you get from real simplicity, which is part of why we do tears and not motorhomes.

Chris, Welcome, you are in the right place for your questions. Dave's suggestion that you consider a little larger than the basic size.

Part of the fun of building a tear is the creativity. Have Fun
