Newbie with a Galley /Whatcha Think

Postby ballcamp » Wed Mar 07, 2007 3:22 pm

Well here it is in all its Oaken Glory,Whatcha Think.

I rehabed the Hinges and Pulls from a Early Sears and Roebuck Catalog house that was being torn down.

What is the time frame as to a Newbie not Being a Newbie?

SO CLOSE A YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with the others--you ain't a newbie no more. Very nice cabinet work. Can't wait to see more as you progress. :applause:
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

It looks great! But, is that ceramic tile? Will that work in a trailer?

Newbie Status

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Wed Mar 07, 2007 8:06 pm

8) The pictures show you've been working quite a bit! Congratulations: You could probably have the admin adjust your title on the avatar to read something like "Recent Graduate of Newness" or "Novice NoMore".
If you attend a gathering and the old timers give you a hazing, I mean warm welcoming....(which I won't reveal what they might do to you or your TD) then you are definitely no longer a newbie. Also, if Newbie status is based upon having completed a teardrop, I shall remain a Teardrop Groupie instead for a long time. That means I've gone to gatherings, met quite a few TDers, and even co-hosted a gathering, but don't personally have a TD of my own....yet. Best wishes and perhaps our paths will someday cross. Check out the IRG website below.
