Hello

Postby Shallowatereds » Tue Aug 14, 2007 8:35 pm

Another newbie here. I used to build boats, then I moved to Colorado and need another hobby. I've been lurking for a week or so now, and think I want to build a 5x10 Benroy-ish trailer.

Anyhow, just wanted to say hello.

Glad you posted, Casey. Look at all of the pics, decide on the style you want, get that trailer frame, slap on a floor and some sides and now you have built a teardrop trailer. All you have to do now is finish it. There are lots of helpful folks here willing to answer any questions. Try to make it to a Gathering and you will be hooked for sure, just like the rest of us. Good luck on your build, take pics, post 'em and enjoy the journey.

Roly

You built that boat? Wow! Great workmanship! If you build a teardrop as well as that it will be spectacular!

Thanks. I actually built both of the boats in the top pic. From scratch.

Hey Casey,

Welcome to the forum. If you can build boats like that, I want to see what your teardrop looks like...

Anyways, have fun!

Mike...
The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten, so build your teardrop with the best materials...

Nice Skiff! Even cooler that you built them yourself.
