I just bought a vintage 1962 13ft Terry travel trailer 2 days ago. I've never owned one before, but have been looking for a few months now. I've looked at some of the photos on this website and wow...nice! I didn't buy this to restore it. I bought it to park in my backyard as a little get away for either the kids or hubby and I.---although we may use it while traveling...what the heck? why not?
I don't know if a 13 footer qualifies as a tiny trailer? I put some before and after photos of it here. http://www.PictureTrail.com/gid17519054
So far, I've painted the inside. Everything works on it which I am amazed at. I would like to make a new cushion for the couch/bed and a few other things.
Wondered what you all thought of the condition of it? Ideally, if I were good with restoring things.. which I'm not... I would love to repanel the inside instead of painting it. Hubby is not good with stuff like that either, so paint is my friend...lol.
Anyhow, I'm new to this forum and have been reading a lot of posts.
Thanks for the opportunity to post here.
