I have been lurking around the site for some time now and decided it was time to introduce myself since I recently joined the ranks of the builders. Here is a picture of the frame that I built from the trailer tutorial. I am planning a 5 x 10 Generic Benroy.

I constructed the floor this afternoon and am hoping to get it undercoated this weekend.

Anyway thanks for all the help so far and thanks to everyone who keeps the site running! There is great information here.

Welcome Jstroke,

When I saw your name I had to look at your profile, because I was sure that you were into canoeing. Miriam and I also love to canoe, that is what we fish out of. Hope you enjoy the forum, but it looks like you have already learned quite a lot. Nice trailer.

Well relax and enjoy yourself and we will see you around. :)

Alright another from Iowa!
Welcome Jstroke. With a name like that do you rebuild transmissions too?

Nice looking frame. You are well on your way. :applause:

I love the Iowa side of the Mississippi River, the trains run less on that side. I have been out to Manchester, IA camping with Bodyman at Baileys Ford Park. You anywhere near there?

I am from NW IA. I have been in the Manchester area flyfishing. It is beautiful country. Hope to explore it more once the teardrop is finished.

Hello All,

I am from NW IA about 30 miles from MN and 40 from SD.

Got the sides cut out today and hope to cut out the doors tomorrow along with attaching the sides to the floor. I try to look at these project as a whole bunch of 1 or two hour jobs. Man, I'm having fun.

Thanks for all the help already.
