Hi from the land of OZ (Australia)
Well I guess that I am the one millionth to reach this position
Two years in the procrastination, 18 months in the construction with umpteen changes during the planing stages and also during the construction.
It started out as the classic 'Trailer for Two', then changed shape to incorporate definite circle radii then came the realization that the lining had to be fastened to something that was not there. Change shape square off the radii; now we have a shape similar to the 'Square Teardrop' or the 'weekender'
Now at the sanding stage the brain starts to function in the direction of “have I used the correct glue, and fasteners” Glue = PVA perhaps too hard and subject to cracking? Fasteners = Plated steel chipboard screws perhaps subject to rusting.
Has any one constructed a Teardrop entirely from aluminum, meaning: using it for the wall and top framing as well as sheeting?
Thanks Ron From OZ
