Welcome aboard CM...What you have there, is know as a BenRoy(or King Richard)...I don't know if it is an original, which were manufactured back in the '50's but it should make an interesting resto project...look forward to seeing your progress on restoring it..........

Image to the playground caveman! Got a good find there. If nothing else you can use the frame and rebuild it. Nice colors!

Caveman, welcome to the board. Looks like you should be in jail for stealing that teardrop. If you are not absolutely set on restoring it to origainal, I would suggest that you remove the "ice Box" and create some more functional storage cabinet space. Iced needs can be stored for days in an extreame cooler that you can carry in your hauler. The exterior seems in pretty good shape and some new formica and clean-up might make it serviceable sooner than you think.

Good luck on your restore job, take pics, post em and attend some gatherings in your area.

Good luck on your re-build and welcome to the forum.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Bonus? thats what the wife said about that stuff. Well they went into the trash this morning when I did some cleaning. It all looks better with 10 or so years of grunge washed off.

The frame is great. Im going to take it down to the frame and have it blasted and then work my way back to the top. Got into the sides today and found a little moe rot than I am willing to try and patch  . Will replace the sides and top, and floor, and..... well the list is growing  . But as some have said here at least I will know what I have. I also have a home made frame using VW spindles that is 4x6 on the floor that will make a great small unit later. So if this rebuild goes well maby I can build one from scratch.
