Hi all!

I've been lurkin' around here for about 2 months absorbing the wealth of knowledge you all are so eager to share.

I can't say I'll be starting my build anytime soon, however I've been wanting to build my own rig for a few years now. In my web-quest for plans I found a few sites of interest, however none quite like this. ;)

I'm in my early 40's working as a web application developer (mostly) for a communications company.

I drive a Jeep, so I've been leaning towards a mild off-road capable, however given all that I see here, the decision seems to get harder to make with each visit.

There are some amazingly talented builders on this board, I look forward to soaking up more of the knowledge... and perhaps someday being in a position to share some :)

Welcome Burke!

I know what you are saying about tring to make up your mind about what to build. Do not be overwhelmed by the information. It is probly in here. If you cannot find it ask the questions. Have fun and enjoy your camping adventures to come. If you get a chance try to go to a gathering to see some of the trailers that others have or have built. Sometimes this helps in getting a feel for space and sizes of things. Then start building and take those pictures of your build and pictures of your adventures along the way.

;)
