Hello from Holland

Postby H@nk » Thu Oct 11, 2007 6:17 pm

Hello all,

I have been posting for a while, and now it is time to introduce myself.
My name is Henk and I live on the Netherlands. At the lowest point of the country. Minus 7. 67 meters. 24'under sealevel?
Before we where owner of a Caravelair Antares 496. Overall length was 6.36 meters. The only thing we where doing with it was towing, putting stuff in and sleeping in it (also other things, but this is a nice forum). From now on I want something smaller. It will be a mix between a grsshopper and a teardrop.

The family is me(48), DW(47), DD(16) DD(14) a dalmationdog and a dwarfdashhound. Oh yeah. 6 rabbits.

My profession is forklifttruckdriver or elevatordriver in a woodcompany.
I use to be a cook. Speaking Dutch, German, (a littleEnglish) and French.

Well, this is it, I guess.

Henk

Welcome. One of my favorite cars is Dutch -- the Spyker C8. Do a TD design like these Dutch cars, and you will be the talk of the forum.

Answer to CD,

Has it to be a one million teardrop and after the drop I'll be bankrupt?

I was more thinking about a Kip Krielhen.
Maybe with a bubble exhaust in the back.

Welcome. You will enjoy the comradeship you will find on this forum.

One of my ex-wives is from Lochem in the Gelderland. She moved back to the NL this year. Thank God.
:applause:

I lived in Vlaardingen for a year after I got out of the US Army (1969) and cleaned oil tankers. That's where I met my ex. In Vlaardingen, not the oil tanker. :D

The KIP Kuiken is more like a Teardrop. Just add a lot of chrome and some ostrich hide upholstery, and you could call it a KIP Spyker. ;)

BTW, my best friend lives in Nederland -- Nederland, Texas, that is. It is a small town in the Southeast corner of the state.

Well Jim,

Let me tell you, we never cook with Dutch ovens. That's trully American.

We use a skottelbraai, that's South African. find something of cadac.

www.cadac.co.sa

That is more the way we cook. And for other cookingstuff we use like you the BBQ. Other times we just normal cook (with water and salt)
