Welcome jawbone,

We have quite a few Canadian builders. If you're looking for information, building plans and a fun time, then you are at the right place. Got questions, just ask. When you begin your build, be sure and post lots of pictures.

See you around.

:) ;) welcome to this forum, this site is a gold mine of info that will allow you to achieve your dream, if you want our opinion, try to stay away from hardware store unless you need absolute necessity items, go look at your local dump, thrift store, garage sale etc, you will probably find everything you need there, and best of all its freebeeeeees, ;)

no tax paid also, wich doesnt help support the political criminals our country are littered with, and best of all you do a good deed in helping this planet in her figth, and kids migth enjoy their future afterall ;) :) :D :R . :baby:

good luck, and remember sometingh we learned here, relax, teardrop times...

my dream belongs to you and them

Jul.

Barrie (TO North....) should have everything your going to need to build.

Princess Auto has axles, [torsion and spring] and lots of lighting and tounge jacks etc... and you can get aluminun skin from most local transport repair shops.

Hey Jawbone,

Welcome to a fellow Ontarian!

Be sure to make it to the TearUp next June in upstate NY... should be about a 6-6.5 hour drive, but you'll meet lots of other teardroppers. We have had a few others from Ontario attend. Not often you'll find a teardrop in Ontario.

Have you met up with the guy in Kirkfield (near Balsam Lake) who builds tears? You'll find him at http://www3.sympatico.ca/dfrantsi/

Cheers

Hey Dave from Ottawa - I've looked at his site and emailed him a few times - get no answer. Can't believe I've ticked him off already - people usually have to talk to me for a few minutes. - jawbone

Welcome Jawbone, we drove by there on our way to the west arm of Nippissing.

Though it has been a while, about 25 yrs. But once I get my tear built and a boat to go on top, I’m planning to make it on of my first trips.

Man I love the beauty of that area, and the fishing is next in line.
