Hello All

Postby Eric Barnes » Tue Oct 23, 2007 12:19 am

Hello everyone,

I've been reading posts like mad for a few months and decided to finally throw my hat in the ring here and introduce myself.

I started this little project as a small trailer for my ATV to pull around. I did some searching on the net for small trailers and you can imagine what kept comming up. The more I looked at those cool little trailers the more it appealed to me. Almost as much as the whole project frightens me :)

I feel like I've made some good progress but I'm starting to worry and thought I would throw my build out there for anything that might be waiting to bite me and I just don't see it yet. This is a work in progress and I'm designing as I go  so far I don't think I have screwed up too bad.

Anyway, if anyone wants to see my progress I have been keeping track as I go at http://www.iknownothing.net/tear

Thanks for having such a great place to rummage through for ideas.

Eric... Welcome to the funzone.
Well, you have certainly done your homework. Excelent frame design and the profile looks great too.
Looking forward to watching the rest of you project! Looks terrific so far.

Thanks for the kind words Podunkfla.

After following some of the builds by real craftsman out there I was almost afraid to put up my progress, mistakes and all. I am definetly no carpenter but as long as it doesn't leak when I'm done, I'll be happy.
