Newbie from Colorado

Hello T&TTT folks,
My name is Kenyon and I am from Greeley, CO. I have been toying with the idea of building a teardrop for a bit over a year. I took a detour as I considered a houseboat rebuild but thought the better of it due to size restraints. I spent a great deal of time surfing for information, plans, tips, etc... and actually joined this forum about a month ago asking about Filon.(see Buying Filon in the general section).

Anyway, I am building a 5 x 10 generic Benroy. I have spent the last month collecting supplies, parts, and advice and will commence in the next week or so. I hope to be camp-worthy by spring. I will try my hand at posting my progress and adding photos. I can only hope that I can make my trailer worthy of public display here. This is my first attmpt and this is also probably the biggest build item I have attempted. I can't wait to get started though. I am excited. Thanks for replies and advice so far.

Image to the playground Kenyon. Great to hear another Benroy being built! And even better to hear you will get us some pictures. 8) Don't fret about it being the first big item built. Mine is and it is fine. Not the fanciest but we like it. If I can do it you can too.

Feel free to ask questions and give answers too.

Enjoy

Welcome Kenyon,

Glad for the intro and also glad you are enjoying the forum. Well you've got your design picked out, so it's time to start making sawdust. Keep us updated with build pictures as you go. We really enjoy pictures and it gives us a chance to tell you how well you are doing.

See you around.
