Southern Maryland checking in

Postby GizUSN » Mon Dec 17, 2007 7:11 pm

Hello, my name is Dean and I've been... Oops, wrong forum, and not the truth anyhow. My name is Dean, and I'm in the planning stages of building my first Teardrop. Not committed to much yet on the design, but I am leaning towards a 5x8 with insulated walls, and built as light as what the experience here allows is prudent. I recently retired from the Navy, have started my second career and plan to spend some time seeing the States.

Hi Dean,

Welcome to the forum. If we can be of any help, just ask. And as you start your build, be sure and post pictures. We like to see your progress.

See you around.

Hey Dean,

Funny seeing you here! This is a great place, and there are a lot of ideas, and the folks here are always good to help find parts, recommend suppliers, etc. Also, be sure to checkout the Design Library at the top.

To the playground Dean! Planing can take as long as building for some. Take your time and get what you really want

Look forward to the pictures---keeps the bubble oil level and the Mad ones happy.

Hey all,

Thanks for the Welcome, and thanks for the ideas that you've been sharing amongst yourselves for a while now. I just recently got here, but it's clear that there are several years worth of experience that I get to benefit from. I'm still planning and hope to purchase a frame after the holidays. Until then I'll be lurking and studying.

Good to see you Earl, thanks for the "heads up". The place will be a goldmine.
