Gidday from Sunny Queensland, Australia,
I have just joined your group and would like to introduce myself.
My wife, Karen, and I live in Maryborough, Queensland.
I'm a 50+ ex serviceman.
We have just purchased a Teardrop built in Maryborough in 1955.
Not sure of the brand, but it was built from plans in a Popular Mechanics Mag.
The old chap who owned it has passed away so I don't know a lot of its history.
It is in excellent condition, only needing a repaint to be serviceable. I will try to insert an image, allthough not quite sure how to do this.
Looking forward to interacting with other teardrop owners and doing some travel in ours.
Cheers ,
Ross and Karen Daniel

Ross and Karen,

Welcome to the board. Post some pictures and someone can tell you a bit about your teardrop, I'm sure. If it was built from Popular Mechanics then you should look through the 'Vintage Plans' at the top of the page. It may very well be in there.

Again, welcome!

Enjoy the site and we sure hope you share your travels with us cause we love the pictures.

Yep, nice looking Home Built. Should clean up nicely. I do believe I'd change out those fenders (wings), or what ever they call them in Aussie land. ;) And welcome aboard.
