Been there, done that. It can be interesting until you have to start dealing with engineers!!!
Welcome aboard, we have at least one other Kiwi around here somewhere. Haven't seen him about in a while tho.

Image to the playground Tony. We do have Kiwi members.

If you can weld, or have a knack for putting things together you can build a teardrop.

 Now, about the requirements. We gotta have lots of :pictures: :pictures: :pictures: cause they keep the bubble oil level. Very important for building. ;) 8)

Hi Tony,

Welcome to the forum. If you can weld, you can build a teardrop. If you have questions, just ask.

See you around.

I'm not from New Zealand but it's the only country I'd leave the U.S. for. Spent a fabulous month vacationing there several years ago.

Good luck with your build. Will look forward to photos of it out in the spectacular NZ countryside.

Tony

Hi from a fellow Kiwi tear drop builder.

Which part of the country are you in? there are another couple of kiwis here as well.

We are just back from a weeks camping at Whananaki in our sort of Benroy, Much better that a tent.

There are a lot of really helpfull people on the forum, which makes building easier. If you have any queries about local supliers let me know.

Regards Carl
