Hello all,

I'm done sitting at the computer looking and doodling! I got a 5x9 stake sided trailer and I'm not afraid to use it!

I will build a non traditional tear shape, because I'm a lousy carpenter. I'll do one curve, maybe. I have the interior dregs of one 1970 pop up, and one 1950's trailer to play with.

My only drawback is that the TD will be removable from the trailer. It will slide off and on. Still working on the skid design as we speak. Well it hasn't snowed for at least a week and the winter wheat looks green....must be Spring!

Image to the playground Pat. Nice to see you.

Had an idea and you can think it over. Image
I was wondering why you couldn't run a TD out on rails similar to the slide out rails used in this build.

Some way to lock it down would be needed but might work.

OH and take pictures, lots of pictures :pictures: :pictures: :pictures: :hammer: :designing: We have lots of people wanting to do this.

Skid rails

Postby plbecker » Tue Apr 08, 2008 8:26 pm

OOOOOH,
I looked at this trailer/toy carrier and did not connect the dots. That would work and not be too expensive. The dolly wheels would have to settle in at the end of the track to allow the floor to rest directly on the trailer bed.......

Does everyone around here think like Dr. Frankenstein or is it just me?
