I've been informed. Will be showing how to make your own profile top rail. You will need to make one piece of tooling. This will be for a box trailer . Like the Weekender, Nano

Howdy saywhatthat,
Welcome to the Forum and we are glad you crawled out of hiding...

In looking over your post, you say you have been picked to build one of the [I think] kits. Can you explain got picked and what kits... I am just curious... :NC

Again, welcome aboard and good luck on your build...
Happy Camping & Building,
John (JC)

At work we have a outdoor luncheon Fridays So I stay the cleanest so I do most of the cooking. T&TTT Cookbook #2 is my go to. So this may be pay back. What I'll be showing is how to make a piece of tooling from anything that has a inside curve . To make the top rail , to corners to outer shell . Will not be using any kits
There a lot of misinformation out their. Like tooling must be polished to use big time waster. That making tooling is high costing and hard. Should cost lest than $40.00. In under one hour .

Do not get what you are saying. Tooling to make a roof wall joint? Picture or a drawing may help.

Have you seen the posts about Modular components shells? This is how to do at a very low cost.
Tooling = mold . Just made one for $15.00 . You will need just one piece of tooling about 36'' long are shorter to do any box trailer .

Thank you for the explanation, I had misunderstood and thought you would be building from a kit and haven't seen kits offered, I suppose some are out there, but I haven't really looked for any either...
Will enjoy looking at your build and tooling pics also...
Thanks again and good luck with the build...

Sorry AZ Desert

At first I though I’d using some perform Rail Top pieces. With manufacture specific shapes..
Most places that sale forms of Rail Top are being sold as individual pieces
What I’ll be showing how to make your own styles from anything that has a inside design
Remember fiberglass tooling can be made from anything.

Welcome aboard saywhatthat!! Glad you have come out of the shadows. It sounds great that you get to combine your interest in tnttt with your employment. :applause: This sounds like an interesting topic for me, as I have some fiberglass experience, but not with making molds for it. I will keep an eye out for your updates.

Folks: I am guessing by his grammar and sig-line that there may be some language barrier/hurdle involved. So if you keep asking the new guy for pics when he's already said he's working on it, he may just get frustrated and walk away. Just sayin'.
