New Tear in Phoenix....4 photos

Hi Folks. Im new here. Built a teardrop last summer. We've
been out with it 8 times in AZ and CA. Did a 12 day in the
Sierra Navada Mt's last month. It's been great I love it and so does
Mary Ann. Tears get a lot of attention on the road, everybody
seems to take a second look. Lots of people ask questions and
want to peek inside. Can't thank you all enough. Gobs of helpful
info here. So thank you thank you thank you.

I tried to upload some images. Followed the instruction I think...?
I'll check back later to see if there's a hold period for newbies.
My tear is pretty different looking from anything I''ve seen online
or out in the wild. The sides are a dropcloth variation.... I used
printed tapistry's on the sides so it looks like a hippy dippy paint
job. I think thats why it gets so much attention. Some folks are
amazed at the design. I sometimes play along and pretend I
painted it. ha ha. Then when they raise their phone to shoot
an image I tell them that'll be 25 cents. Lol.

I love the paint and decal... It reminds me of Native American designs...

It looks like that campspot with you is at the foot of the Superstitions... Is that correct... ???

Wow Hap! That is an awesome "paint" job.

Please tell more about the technique you used? Did you soak and glue on the fabric? Coat it with a water based or oil based clear finish after? This certainly adds a lot of flare to the trailer. A neighbour is building his trailer now and is at the stage of- how do I finish the outside?
