Back after a long absence, so I'm a newbie again!

Hi Folks,

I'm back after several years of not being able to go camping. My wife and I have had some family obligations to elderly loved ones which have kept us close to home with our camper in storage. Happily we now have the Little Guy 4-wide back on the road and are starting to do some retirement traveling again. Boy, do I have a lot to re-learn!

My last post was sometime in 2009! Wow, time goes by so fast at my age!

I am so happy to find that the board is still so active and there are several names I remember from before. You folks were so helpful to us when we were just starting out. It was great to meet some of you at the few gatherings we had a chance to go to. Hopefully, we can get to a lot more now.

I know I will have a lot of questions and I hope I can help a little as well!

Welcome back Chuc, Nan and I wondered where you and Denice were.
We all camped together (the first and only time) at Shabbona Lake
State Rec Area, in Illinois. There was a rather good size group we had.
That was a verrrrrryyyy hot weekend, October 5-7, 2007. Maybe you
can join us this October, with the Land of Lincoln, Tearjerkers.
